A bit of a flat opener compared with the current whackiness of The Tourist and the recent incredibility of Vigil (  to both of them from me). They seem to have toned down the (unintentional?!) SW comedy element somewhat in the last couple of series (perhaps that writer has moved on to Vigil ? and The Tourist seems to have been written by an AI app) and the storyline of this one may actually prove interesting if there is anything in the police theory that ended part 1. |

I haven’t watched for years, but I was intrigued by the continuity announcer’s comments before it started and thought I’d give it a few minutes… now of course I want to know the who, what and why  |

Well I didn’t guess the ending despite having watched an Argentinian film which had almost the same denouement. I enjoyed that but bloody Velvy does my head in with his endless questions. I know he is supposed to have come from a sheltered (Hasidic) background, but he would test the patience of a saint.

Just watching last week’s starter and I don’t like the way Jack is becoming a total Neanderthal. I can’t believe the fragrant Nikki would ever go for him, but then he has never been a favourite of mine. He was better when he had Clarissa to act against.

So Cara’s friend tried to seduce Jack because he is a hunk? Seriously? He looked an absolute disgrace this week after his fight and spoke as if he had a mouthful of marbles. I can’t believe his boss didn’t send him home until he could actually look and act like a professional. Instead the boss took up fighting!!!!🤯

What’s with the sudden flood of F Bombs in this show? This is a new development. I also read it is moving from London for the Midlands next series.

Not totally sure I kept up with this one, not one of their best. I mean there’s stretching credibility and there’s smashing it to pieces. Hope the next story is better
