I found it hard to get past Jones being sent undercover in an area where he not only grew up but was a policeman for many years. He must have been to every village cos everyone of them has had at least one murder in it! You would have thought that someone at the cricket match would have slapped him on the back and said 'DS Jones! How the devil are you?'

I just watched the cricket one. Forgetting where he was born, it's also amazing no one in the police station recognised the photo of Jones on the case board!
I am now watching an o!d one but it features the lovely Larry Lamb. 👍
