They do, but just not broad Yorkshire like their dad.

Nice to visit this lovely family again, this time with Ben Fogle. Interesting to hear how Amanda and Clive met, and how she came to farming. Didn't realize she was 6' 2" though. Clemmie was only six weeks old when this was filmed, loved the old fashioned cradle. I like their attitude to life, don't make plans, just see what happens.

I nearly missed this but a friend rang to tell me it was on just before it started. I knew how they came to meet and what their backgrounds are through reading Amanda's books but it was nice to see the children when they were younger and compare how they have grown and developed. Wonderful family.

Another visit to this delightful and hardworking family. Raven is off to university, Violet and Sydney enter some lambs for a Show, the younger children do some baking for the Show. Clemmie helps Clive smarten up Colin the sheep for the Show, and Clive gets a hip replacement. Home after two days! Is this normal practice now? How those children have grown, especially Reuben.

My goodness I love this programme and all who are in it. You could tell watching Clive walk he had trouble with his hip.
I expect the reason he was allowed home after two day was that he had been a very fit active man normally and not sat behind a desk.

It's great, isn't it. So many delightful moments.
I had to laugh when, after the last straw bale had been passed up to Amanda, it was now too far for her to get down again. The kids were unconcerned and highly amused. " You'll have to live up there. Bye-bye!" said one. Reuben tried blackmail when she wanted him to help her - "What we having for tea?" - "Spinach." - "Right, I'm not doing it then."

I did laugh at little Clemmie's reaction as she shut the gate on the naughty sheep: "b****r!" I could hear her father speaking there. And then when she was telling her mother about it she said "I awesomely did it!" I do love this family.

A great finale, all filmed by the family themselves since the film crew were excluded due to covid lockdown measures.
I hope we keep seeing more series - it could run and run.

I've loved this series. Especially since Lockdown. Those children certainly get to know about life and death at an early age. No sentiment, just part of life. Enjoyed watching them film themselves. I too hope a new series is in the offing.
