Been lots of trailers for this, starts when Call The Midwife ends on Sunday
Set in an Indian hospital, run by by the English (l think)
So if medical trauma is your thing, then best make an appointment.

Yes. I've seen the trailers for this and I think it looks good. I shall be watching.

I didn't watch as was watching Apple Tree Yard and also recording Homeland. The newspaper reviews are poor but well reviewed here so will give it a go.

I recorded it, but not sure if it seems a bit sickly sweet, from the trailers, I'll watch episode 1 and then see.

I watched expecting it to be poor but it was actually quite good. A bit 'Mills and Boon' in parts but overall enjoyable.

I liked Amanda Redman and Neil Morrissey, but thought the ingenue was a pretty ropey actress. Still it may settle into its groove so will watch next week.

The problem is, the final part of Apple Tree Yard is tonight, then there's Homeland from last night, Unforgotten on Thursday ... an abundance of riches! Along with Michael Portillo's journeys earlier in the evening, it doesn't leave much time for anything else.

For me, it's a mix of Call the Midwife and Death in Paradise. But without the murders. There are some dark storylines in there but it's all very cosy.

Watched this last night and rather to my surprise, enjoyed it. It wasn't as saccharine as I was expecting, and I thought Ruby's despair in her life and work situation before she left was all too credible. Sadly I suspect that the happy outcome of the couple with the sick baby was rather less credible. Good performances all round and I will tune in again next week.
