From the sock they found it looked like someone from the football team.
The owner of Axehampton Hall was only in the episodes for a minute or two to say he'd found some evidence. But I've seen him in loads of stuff so could it turn out to be the owner of the hall? Also he found the evidence could he be trying to sent the cops in another direction. Away from him?

I'm wondering if the mystery victim known to Beth's boss will turn out to be someone we've met before, in a previous Broadchurch series. Just a thought!

This is very good - a massive improvement on the second series, much to my relief. I really don't know who it could be; too many choices, too many red herrings. I don't think there's any real reason to suspect Paul at the moment. I got the impression from that last scene that what Tom has on his phone is more than normal porn, but could be just another dead end. I was always suspicious of the vicar in the first series and am still wondering if he had something to do with Danny's murder.

Oh I hope not! He did seem very dodgy though, as did most people in my book. I suspect just about everyone at some point in Broadchurch. I was, impressed by Pauline Quirke before, playing such an unpleasant woman. Could she return?

I've always thought the vicar was hiding something.
I was wondering and maybe this is a bit strange, but earlier in one of the episodes they alluded to the fact that the rape victim had been sleeping around since she split up with her husband. I think it was said that she was very much available but perhaps not so politely. So we have this and we have something going on with computers and I just wonder if someone hasn't been filming her or filming others having sex at her house. Certainly her husband is desperate to get at something on the computer, we know others have got something to do with computers and now the detectives daughter is worried that something has been put on the internet about her. Just keeps coming up and I think this might link it all together.

Yes, but it was Trish's husband Ian who said that so I don't know how seriously we should take it. She had sex with Jim on the morning of Cath's party because he was there to look at her boiler, she would have known he has affairs and she 'wanted sex'. So it was a mutual weakness that she now regrets – whether because it was a betrayal of Cath's friendship, or because the subsequent (and as far as we know unconnected) rape has made it impossible to keep secret, isn't clear. Is there any evidence other than from Ian that she sleeps around?
Agree about the computers and added to this is Tom's laptop from series 1 that he was trying to destroy when Paul caught him. That was never followed up. We know that Tom likes watching porn on his phone, so is this an adolescent phase or is there something more sinister? I still think he's in the frame for killing Danny Latimer with Joe taking the rap for him, and as Mark has now found Joe, something terrible is going to happen there.

Perhaps, they did say that this series would tie up all the loose ends and by crikey there are plenty.

I think Tom has been sharing the, pictures of Hardy's daughter on his phone, not just your bog standard porn video (whatever that is these days!).

That will be a terrible twist, if Mark kills Joe, and then it comes out that Tom killed Danny. Really hope that doesn't happen, because I think Ellie's suffered enough and that would destroy her.

I think Tom has been sharing the, pictures of Hardy's daughter on his phone, not just your bog standard porn video (whatever that is these days!). Her photos, I think, are connected with Tom and his friends and their being in trouble for viewing porn on their phones at school. Was Tom one of the boys that turned up at Hardy's house looking for Daisy and, when her dad answered the door, told him to tell her "the boys" had called? I don't think he was or surely Hardy would have recognised him? I wonder, now he knows about her stolen photos, if he will make the connection with the call at the house and with Tom being in trouble at school. He is a detective after all!

No, Tom wasn't one of the three boys who knocked on the door - but his mate who was looking at a film clip on his phone with him (Taxi driver's stepson) was one of them. It wasn't just photos they were looking at on the phone - they plugged earphones in and you could hear panting on the soundtrack.

There isn't one bloke in Broadchurch I haven't suspected at one point.

Someone at work suggested that the light Trish saw was from a mobile phone possibly recording the attack.
