Will we be able to stay in second place or will the Chinese take it from us at the end??? Come on all other nations!!!! What an achievement that would be. Third is fabulous but second, wow.

Joe Joyce could win a boxing medal for us this evening. China don't have many gold medal chances in the remaining events so we should stay above them.

I'd love to know what was said between Jorgensen and the Swiss lady when they had words during the run. Didn't look too friendly! Nicola Spirig explained that as they made the turn they went into a much stronger headwind and so she was telling Gwen Jorgensen that they should take turns in leading, to which GJ refused as she had been doing the leading anyway, hence the weaving by NS. In the end NS knew she'd gone as far in the run with GJ, as she could, so told her "I already have a gold medal, you go" at which point GJ began to stretch her lead. At around 8 out of 10KM that's possibly the longest I've ever seen another run with GJ for that long, once she had a lead.

So Team GB in Athletics got 7 medals ![s0249](http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0249.gif) ...which turned out good - but the breakdown of the Medals tells another story, 11 Women and just 2 Men getting them....I hope the Girls get more Lottery money after Rio, they deserve it. WomenJessica Ennis-Hill Daryll Neita Asha Philip Desiree Henry Dina Asher-Smith Emily Diamond Eilidh Doyle Anyika Onuora Kelly Massey Christine Ohuruogu Sophie HitchonMenMo Farah Greg Rutherford

I am watching the cycle mountain bike racing and the female commentator has one of the most boring droning voices I've heard

Amazing scenes in one of the Wrestling Bronze medal finals! With a few seconds to go, the Mongolian wrestler was leading the Uzbekistan wrestler 7-6. He raised his clenched fists in the air to celebrate victory, but was then penalised one point, making it 7-7, for not engaging his opponent, who won by virtue of being the last to score. One of the Mongolian's supporters then stripped to his underpants and threw his clothes and shoes to the floor in protest! The Uzbekistan wrestler then got another point to win 8-7.

They get really really passionate about wrestling in Mongolia. I remember watching a documentary about it.

Well I thought it was a poor show when that French boxer made a face and raised his arms in celebration before the fight ended. Arrogant little...........

Joe won that fair and square IMO, if you gain points for having your head in your gloves then the Frenchman won it hands down.
