I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this Olympics, but - as always - it had me completely gripped, and I loved it. Well done Rio, and well done Team GB.

Well I really enjoyed what I watched but I was lucky as my favourites were on at good times and we did well! But I barely saw any swimming or athletics except for on the News if we won. I never really found a highlights show like they used to do. I think it was buried in Breakfast perhaps?? Still I watched loads and now have a serious backlog of regular shows to catch up on. I abandoned serials because I cannot do stop and start too often or I just forget the plot (like the last Shetland!). Series link was jolly useful.

They repeated the BBC1 programme, that was on over night....every morning, at 9:15am, on BBC2 I think. The closing cereromony is on this morning.

Oh, I was looking for a one hour show around noon!! That would have suited me better! I never really checked what was happening on the TV before then. Just as well or I would have been watching it nearly all day.

Recorded on the red button without commentary.
Why do the BBC allow their commentators to be so disrespectful and childish during the opening and closing ceremonies? It does them no favours at all.

Not sure about some of those facts, she was certain GB had more medals in total than China and had to be corrected... And is Brazil just moving into Autumn? ... I'm totally confused now, everyone had been saying it was winter there, but was it She's always a bit over-excited....

Watched without commentary too - refreshing.....loved the Green Singer, homage to the Pool. snoozer_11 BBC News have really got it in for our medalist....all down to the money from the lottery, they are saying - and interviewing Medalist {half an hour ago} from the 90's who didn't have the Money....they didn't take the bait.

Crazy. You couldn't make it up. They have to drag down everything. Are news journalists frustrated sportspeople?
They'll be fawning all over the returning athletes tomorrow.
So two faced.

Seasons in the Southern hemisphere are the opposite of ours. It is late Summer here so it is late Winter there. (Although Rio is in the tropics and warm all year, so rather meaningless to call it Winter).
