When did they show that? I’m sure I’d have seen it, I’ve been too gripped by this to be doing anything else while it’s on.

Relatively early on in yesterday's episode, DI Hudson (Cathy) had established that Tara's body had been placed in a sleeping bag and then that was wrapped in a tarpaulin which had been sealed with rope using a butterfly knot and then dumped. Later in the episode (right at the end I think), we saw the daughter visiting Rob at his fishing boat / workplace and he clearly had just performed a butterfly knot on some equipment. (We got a close up of it).

Yes Cake I saw the scene with him tying the butterfly knot to show how tight the family was but I missed the bit about the tarpaulin. I shall watch the beginning again😊

The young lad playing Jack sounds just like the original Robert Sugden in Emmerdale I wonder if it’s a younger brother.

The knot was shown briefly (blink and you miss it!) when DI Hudson was bringing her newly assembled team up to speed on the case - about 5 minutes into episode 2:

Ah yes I see. Bit obscure.

Well, I didn't think so. Yes, a bit brief, but to name a knot like that is an obvious sign of a signature! But perhaps it's because of the the venture scout in me (actually, I think it was guides where I learnt knots!). Full turn and two half hitches and all that!

Oooh, I do hope so! Maybe this is it..... ..... {SPOILER:Click to Show}I am wondering if the bent copper is involved in some way - is the guilty party a friend or relative? Why else is he so keen to convince everyone that David was the murderer, to the extent of concealing evidence?

I'm still going with accidental death and panic body disposal.
The brother of the original accused has more to tell us, I suspect.
When they did the reveal about the nail polish traces on the coat I thought they had eliminated all the male suspects - but no, it meant the deceased had borrowed her husbands coat previously.....clever.
Good story, cast and I love the fact that it is on 4 consecutive nights.
Lovely sea side scenery too - anyone know where it is filmed?

It’s all around the harbour adjacent to Chichester ... Emsworth and Bosham area I’m think I’m correct in saying as I recognise it !

Apparently it's Malahide, not far from Dublin. Stunning views! I'm still wondering about the brother - was there any significance to his answer to Jack's question about 'Auntie Gemma' (might have name wrong)... he just said something about her having gone back to live with her family... Just padding, or a red herring.... or me having watched too many crime dramas? Edit: hadn't read wineguzzler's post... I got my info from the RT, I think we 're probably both right, they used the South Downs too!

I also like the way there are no "coming up" trailers when the episodes finish. A refreshing change.
