Just watched episode 2. I wish this was all available on their hub now because I would have watched the next two straight away!

The police sergeant is played by Iain the paramedic in Casualty. Now we know why he took that job as a helicopter medic! I think the cast is very strong and there are a lot of people I recognise from other recent series. The ITV repertory company!

Well, I didn't see that coming.
What a lying bunch they must be in Keswick! (Actually it's my favourite Lake District town). It seems just about everyone the police interviewed had something to hide and lied to them at some point.

I think, of all of them, the true murderer was probably the one I least suspected! I have really enjoyed this and looked forward to each episode.

I did guess whodunnit early on, but not the ‘why’ of it. I felt quite sad at the end - all those lives blighted because of one man’s cowardice. Still, I guess there was a tiny bit of hopefulness in the final scenes.

I guessed the who but not the why! I assumed we would learn it was jealousy because Sally actually was sleeping with Matthew. I found the character of Matthew very hard to get a grip on. Sally seemed to think he was a dream student, Amy was obsessed with him, he seemed ready to out Sam and to be high on drink and drugs half the time… so a bit of a mixed bag.
So why did Beth confess to his murder then? Why was she still at school if she was 19?
I would have liked to have seen Karen (who seemed incapable of giving an honest answer to any question) being booted off the board of governors, and along with Amy and Beth being charged with wasting police time at a minimum. Such a bunch of liars. And as for Sam letting his wife take the fall then hoping to get back with her away from Keswick… what a slime ball!!!!!
I thought this was a very good watch.
