ITV have re-commissioned their Anna Friel fronted drama series Marcella.
Eight episodes have been ordered, which will air in 2017.

I thought it started off well but quickly faded. The silliest bits for me were the complete disregard for police procedure. The bit where she interviewed a suspect alone, no tape, after opening her blouse to flash him some cleavage was beyond ridiculous.

I watched it, and I'm struggling to remember what actually happened (even with marion's description of a scene!  ). Hmm, not sure whether I'll watch a second series, but I'll keep an open mind for now.  |

I'll definitely be watching. I remember the first series wasn't universally popular, to put it mildly, but I'm a fan of Anna Friel and I liked it.

I think I will follow my first instincts and give this a miss this time. I do like Anna Friel but not even she could save the shambles of the last series! And it clashes with Collateral. (But I might have a sneaky peak.)

Think I might record it. The first series was a bit silly but I think I remember enjoying it. Can always delete the recording if not.
