I heard on the morning TV about the horns hooting in Italy Lugs - and I thought, I know who that will be!

Spanish fans turn up wearing their expensive red replica footie shirts for a Euro semi and their team turn up in all white.😕

The various team colours always confuse me when viewing Rufus!

Whenever I can’t sleep because of noise, I always tell myself to remember that I did manage to sleep in a Milan hotel when one of their teams had won Serie A. Holy moley!
There was a big debate on the radio this morning about why one team had to wear white when there was no clash at all between the Italian and Spanish strips. Now there was an answer but I had zoned out by then!

Because one team is always the designated away team done by the toss of a coin. It's standard and happens every tournament.
Tonight's the night folks. I hope we do it, but if it goes to penalties I think I'll have to hide behind the sofa.
Whatever happens we've done well, awful year, brilliant tournament and I have enjoyed almost every game and cheered lots of teams. Just the pep we needed.

First 20 minutes of the lunchtime news given over to football. Sorry BBC but that is just wrong - especially when you really have nothing to report. How many face painted children do we need to see?
At least start the bulletin with the non-Euro news so people with no interest can switch off once the football items start.

ITV's coverage of 'the match' starts at half six.
Only an hour and a half to cover all the stuff talked about many times before now.
ITV just aren't trying!

I hope the Curse of ITV does not strike. England never seem to do better than a draw when they televise their matches. A draw or they lose.

It's 55 years since we made it to a final. I think we can cut them some slack.
After all Wimbledon is on two channels!

Only 10 minutes of the 6pm BBC news. First item but not as much as we had at lunchtime. Maybe they had some negative feedback.

I have to say I will be glad when they stop talking about 1966... after Sunday?? and I remember it very vividly, some wonderful players, some amazing matches... carefully filling in my chart after each game So much excitement - even my mother watched the Final, though my Dad and I had to keep answering questions such as ‘Is he allowed to do that?’, ‘why has the referee blown his whistle?’ ... To her credit she didn’t ask ‘how long does this last?’ I’d like to say I was in my pram, sadly no I wasn’t. Am I the only one on here?? I don’t think we had so much endless talking though....TV was different then!

I was 3 but I don't remember being particularly interested. We had just got Cat#1....
Ok, can someone get a message to Gareth? I've put my highlights on and they come off at 20.35. Could he ensure they are at least 3-0 ahead by then because I will have to interrupt my viewing...
