It doesn't say that they're going on a tour, they are available to see at the Olympics abd then at a couple of Expos in Japan.
I'm sure it would be a popular touring exhibition.

They are gorgeous, what a lovely idea.
I can’t do links but I googled Olympic kimono project and on soranews24.com they show each of them by name. We have the big tourist sites like Big Ben and the Tower and a ton of roses. The only country not well served is, imho, Spain which is a bit abstract with yellow and red stripes, and looks a bit like a beach towel. Ours is in the group at the start of the article and the rest then go in alphabetical order at the end.

Good to see Michael Johnson in the studio. Almost makes up for Clare Balding. Must be galling for all the non-africans in the 10K to know that the race will inevitably be dominated by the africans. The Aussie took them on and paid the price. Never liked CB from the time she insulted a Jump Jockey live on air by implying be had bad teeth. Unprofessional. Rather sexist too I always thought. She wouldn't have dreamt of saying anything like that to a female jockey. Thank gawd we now live in more enlightened times.😊 |

Well done Max! Excellent news, now I just have to find it in my hours of recordings to check it out. The equestrian team and individuals are also apparently very well placed before day 3 tomorrow. I think I may just have found some coverage of that so that will see me through lunch at least.

I have only just finished the equestrian so don’t know when I’ll get to Max and co. 😄. Wasn’t there some diving as well? No sign of it yet. I just saw the boxing where the French guy was disqualified for head butting our chap who will now be guaranteed a bronze. He then had a right old rant in the ring but was still out of the competition.

Now watching the men's pommel final. Have managed to avoid any spoilers but Max certainly laid the pressure on, going first. Not sure I like a routine all in flare though. And I imagine the rules will change after to prevent it as there's a lot of skills not shown.

Odd that the BBC do not seem to be able to show clips of the action on their news bulletin. There were still pics of the BMX female winner which, though impressive, are not a patch on actually seeing her perform the stunts.

Italy win the Euros, the Eurovision Song contest and the Olympic 100 Metres and an Italian reaches the Wimbledon final. Think I'll back them for the six nations next year.  |
