Someone new is presenting at the moment. She may be nervous….. she did say that a player would be keen to get to the knock out stages of the tournament…. Say what? I wonder if they are trying out possible replacements for Sue in the early periods. I hope this woman doesn’t get the job.
Just checked online. It was Isa Guha, a cricketer. She was on with Sam Smith who rather saved the day I thought.
I don’t know her but we have a female player called Burbage (?) and the ball boy has been struck down but we don’t know how. But our girl is tending to him! No sign of a doctor or replacement. The opponent doesn’t seem too happy.

Isa must be nervous as she's usually a good presenter. Although she is a cricketer so tennis is not her area of expertise . And she's normally not presenting a show but either commentary or punditry

Well she seems an odd choice then! Why couldn’t they pick someone who knows all about tennis? In-depth knowledge not just superficial.

She’s a good cricket commentator and often presenter of the Highlights programme. I expect/hope she will settle down soon |

I had to suffer Nick Kyrgios earlier as our chap Jubb very nearly beat him and played really well.

I was so tired, and so sure Serena was about to win, I went to bed!!!!
I may have been swayed by Martina who seemed to be totally certain Serena was sure of victory! From the very start! As Bidie says elsethread, it was as if she were the only player on court at times.
