Well it isn’t Tonya Harding because Mr Hopeless just mentioned jumpers “like Tonya Harding” to the American woman. I don’t know what he was talking about as I find him so hard to understand. Most of the time he might as well be speaking Spanish. She I can mostly understand and at least today she is calling the various jumps.TBH I am following the little score box more than ever before, and the captions at the beginning of each performance.
I do wish they wouldn’t just rely on the little flags to tell you where the skaters are from. If the commentators don’t tell you, you have to have a good knowledge of flags. Where are Sheldon and Amy when we need them? 😂😂😂

ROBIN AND KATHERINE ARE BACK!!!!! The ice dance has started (well, we missed a bit in red button as one couple were finishing) Aand they are doing the commentary. Thank goodness for that! I can understand every word, 😀.
Oh it started at the mid way point so may have to check the iPlayer tomorrow and see if the whole thing is on there.
I hope Robin does the Men’s free.

Exactly. He doesn’t scream Wow about four times either! So enjoyable to listen to him on the Free Dance without having to FF through all the slo mo stuff.
The programme wasn’t up in iPlayer so I have had to resort to my red button recording which only covers the second half. But I need to watch it today so no other choice. I’m not up to the last group yet but I think the Finns were badly undermarked in their group. I preferred them out of the whole lot! And as for Ponomorenko Junior and their dance to Poison, well it’s unusual in ice dance to see a routine based on a serial killer isn’t it? 😂😂😂. I liked it though.

I really enjoyed the first and third groups. The second was meh.
The British couple's routine stood out for being unusual. I bet they can't wait for one of the top three couples to retire!

Mr Hopeless and Tonya Whoever were in the stadium because they were drowned out by noise and were talking about the French commentator getting excited. Robin and Katherine weren’t there, so I assume they were watching in Salford as they have done with other sports events.
That Piper Gilles had ovarian cancer last year! So they did well to get silver didn’t they?
I was surprised that I liked our entry because Rocky is not something which appeals, but it was rather good in the end.
OH NO! The disasters are back for the men’s. WTAF is the BBC doing?

So he is second then!
I wonder if they came as a package included with the pictures from whoever is doing the broadcasting? So the BBC only had to pay Robin for one show.
