I love it too. The casting , and depiction of the times are particularly good. It wasn't until I saw Wolf Hall I recognised Anton Lesser as Bright!

So do I  I pointed out to my younger son that they have similar profiles, Endeavour and him, but he's having none of it, reckons he's much better looking. Well, of course he is, he's my boy, but I do think Endeavour is awfully handsome. |

Recorded this while watching Sherlock so will watch tonight. Glad to see it's been well received, though no reviews that I've been able to find. I did notice that Joan is in the cast but wondered it that would be in flashback or if she would reappear.
