Again, it is all down to the editing. English is presumably not Rahul's first language and it could be that the producers decided he should be the "nervous ninny" this year and have used suitable clips to illustrate this. On Jo Brand's programme some of the unused footage can give a completely different picture of a contestant. Who can forget Karen's dance routine?
Kim Joy is astounding - such a calm person and so incredibly talented. She comes over as other worldly and soppy, but there is steel there.
But I suspect Ruby is going to win! She has stamina and is good at planning her bakes as well as being a first class baker.

I thought it was brave of Danny Baker to publicly say he was tired of Rahul's negativity! Yes, Janet, Tom's whisk is a microphone. He wasn't the first to criticise Rahul, when James Acaster was a guest a few weeks ago he suggested Rahul might be playing a game. I don't buy the 'poor little me' attitude. Sorry to be cynical  Can't choose between the two ladies, I'd be happy to see either of them win, but I will be very surprised if they aren't just runners-up |

I was just thinking what a totally ridiculous Technical when I wondered if this had something to do with those trendy fire pits people have these days. I have no idea of course. I think they should get back to basics next series!! Forget the chandeliers etc, although I do like it when they are told to make those foreign cakes which I then have to read off the subtitle and Google.

Was I alone in worrying about Kim-Joy's floaty skirt near the flames? The outdoor challenge was interesting but not perhaps the safest thing to do. And they could all have used another work table.
Come on K-J - anyone who can create a sugar bee that fools a real one deserves to win.
