Not sure why Marion and Linseed are being so coy when the episode has been broadcast, but following suit, I assume they are referring to Med, who was deliberately hit and then run over by a car. There is no way he could survive that. |

For me this is the best drama on any channel at the moment. I ended up with my hands over my eyes in horror at the end of last night's episode. I can't see how he could possibly still be alive which is a great shame because I liked the character too.
I had to resort to Google to remind me exactly what it was Lisa had done in series one to merit being demoted but it all came back to me once I started reading.
Steven Robertson, the actor playing Mark Marshbrook, was Jimmy Perez's sidekick Sandy in Shetland. He got to use his natural accent then as he comes from Shetland.
Surely we will see more of an actor of Stephen Tomkinson's standing? I couldn't believe it when he died in the first few minutes of the first episode!

I think they were doing a Jed Mercurio there so we may only see another few minutes at most!
I had to Google the actor playing Mark to be sure he was the chap from Shetland.

Steven Robertson was in Being Human as a shady man from the ministry type, and was very sinister. He also played creepy twins in an episode of Luther, before that show went bananas. He's a very versatile actor who tends to play supporting roles, so far at least. I've only heard him once playing in his own accent, in Shetland as noted above, and he had to tone it down for mainland audiences!
I remember not particularly liking the first series of The Bay but I'm greatly enjoying this. Med's demise will presumably allow Lisa to resume her role as FLO. Bit of a brutal way to do it though!

I've been recording this, as I wasn't very keen on the first series either. I've just caught up with it & I'm really enjoying it. |

I liked the first series. I have been recording the second one, so that I can binge it later. One thing I really have to remember, though, is not to record over it, which I did with another series, not so long ago.

Record over it? Are you using a VCR? A digital PVR just keeps stacking them up until the hard drive is full. I use my computer and pen drives. I put in the wrong one. |
