Is everyone still traumatised?
I don't know what I think about how it will all develop, but I'm definitely looking forward to finding out

What a shame. He was such a nice character.
I am not happy about this development with her ex husband. Maybe because the last time I saw the actor he played that horrible murderer, but Andy seems a wrong'un to me.

There's something making me uneasy about him

Ditto! - although I think of the actor as the much more pleasant Al Large in Doc Martin, I don't like him one bit in this, manipulating her and the children.

I don't trust Lisa's husband one bit: does he have some connection with the drug factory and that's why he has turned up again?
I found that last episode very moving.

Well, my overall impression was - not bad. I'll watch series 3, which the continuity announcement at the end confirmed. (It won't have Morven Christie in it though, who is definitely leaving the show. Lisa Armstrong’s replacement will be DS Jenn Townsend, played by Marsha Thomason - an actor completely unfamiliar to me although she's been in many things.)

I have enjoyed the whole series but whilst it solved the murder case it did seem to fizzle out a bit at the end with some things left unanswered - maybe for the new series to resolve. I still can't believe Stephen Tompkinson played such a small part!

I was underwhelmed by the ending. Preferred the first season.

I binged this and quite enjoyed it, but I've had to remind myself how it ended so it hasn't stayed in my mind. For the actual murderer to employ a hit man who carried out the hit in such a public and dramatic fashion, then used a child to dispose of the gun when he could have chucked it in the nearest river himself, seems very over the top. But then I suppose it had to be to engage our interest.
Disappointed in Owen McDonnell who fought crime all by himself as a lone copper in Single Handed and has now gone over to the dark side! And who more recently was so lovely as Eve's husband in Killing Eve.

Eve's lovely husband: THAT'S who he was! I knew I knew the actor from somewhere.

Gosh, I didnt recognise him at all!
I thought that it fizzled out a bit too. I thought Frank was involved with Grace though, lol. It seemed a bit quick zipping through the loose ends and amazing what Lisa's mother could discover from a quick google on her ipad. You would think someone else in the family might have tried the same thing if they were missing their Dad or wanted to know exactly what the ex had been up to. Surely the children would be quite into looking people up online.

A friend asked me today if I had watched the last episode and if so, what I thought of it. She had been as disappointed as me saying the way it was done made her feel as though the writer had got bored and wanted to bring it to an end as quickly as possible.
