It will probably take a while to get used to the new FLO, and to find out what mystery she has in her past.
I will miss Lisa
Good to see Morecambe again, but it’s a very long time since I lived there, and the way it is portrayed is nothing like I remember

I thought (like many others) the youngest son of the family looked a bit old to be in sixth form, (not sure how old the actor actually is) but apart from that I enjoyed it and look forward to working out who everyone is and their complex connections

I think probably there aren't many suitable younger actors available at the moment. The script presumably requires the character to be deaf, they wanted to cast a deaf actor, I guess found their choice limited and went for experience rather than age.

I thought the same about the actor playing the deaf son.
I prefer the new DS, so far at least, because I never did like the character played by Morven Christie.

Well I didn’t mind that but I was more focused on the new FLO rather than the story which I found curiously uninvolving. I don’t like boxing so maybe that was the problem but I couldn’t get a handle on who Saif was or what was going on really. I was also very distracted by the teenager who looked like a 35 year old. It did seem unlikely that the FLO and her family had just moved in with her boyfriend and his daughter without any or at least very little debate! None of the children seemed to have been prepared for the move; I got the impression they barely knew each other.
Digispy have confirmed there will be another series.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. For once it had a sensible and satisfactory ending. Looking forward to the next series!
