Pru and Timothy in Venice I do love that city! Pru seems a little bit frailer, but is as determined as ever

'Oh fart'
Stunning start to the new series, should be on Sunday's, and for Pru, Lost in Venice, looked like a real tonic for her - but Tim is still bumping in to things....'That was a balls up'.
Loved the rowers at the end - Elisa and Jane, so graceful - life jackets too for Pru&Tim.
'Whats wrong with a week in North Wales'

This is such a lovely gentle programme. I love this pair and I think Pru is so stoic. Tim, hopeless as ever.

I think they're both stoic, and their joint determination to just Get on With Life is an inspiration.
Great pics of Venice, too!

Another great journey with Pru & Tim in 'NED' - a first too with the electric boat and a very close, head on collision. The guy on the boat with them, got of very quickly.... One Bump or Two.

I noticed that he leapt off, sharpish, as if he'd had enough! A few bumps there, Tim! Loved the scenery and the colourful tulips.

The tulip gardens were stunning, though the lack of scent is a pity – I think there are scented varieties of tulip but generally not, I think. Nice to see them relaxing with old friends – what a lovely couple they are and what a nice way for them to document later life.

I believe the next one is on the Leeds Liverpool, I am also watching John Sargents Barging around Britain on ITV only 30 minutes but packed full of information

It was Leeds–Liverpool. The canal seemed to have a lot more sharp bends in the open country than they usually do – to do with the terrain I suppose. Sorry about the Bradford arm being closed. Much was made in earlier series about volunteers (including Pru and Tim in their younger days) cleaning up old canals so all is not lost for that one. Not to undermine the awfulness of dementia, but Pru is fortunate to be physically fit, and to have such stimulus in her life. Good on her – I hope they both keep going for a long time yet.

So do I. It has been another lovely series from them. It's lovely the way they are with each other

Fine end to the series this week, crash bang wallop, there Family History was very interesting - plus the amazing scenery...was only in Marsden on Monday, showing the Sister around....and took a 'short' trip, into the Highest Longest Deepest tunnel there, which I'm sure Tim & Pru did a while back....a detour - anyway, never been to the Bingley Five Rise....have to visit now. And Basil turns up...what the, how did that happen.

Enjoyed this. Good stuff - lovely scenery and interesting to poke around some of the buildings, such as the Mill. Do worry about Tim's driving, though!

I'd worry more if he didn't crash into things
