Good bread week and Giuseppe was a worthy winner. Sorry to see Rochica go, but she had a bad week.

Oh that result surprised me. I was sure George would go. I shan’t miss Freya much though.
Poor Jürgen didn’t win star baker in German week. He looked crushed!

They are a major part of the reason I stopped watching. The other being that the competitors are now all 'personalities' rather than just bakers.

Last night I was 5 minutes in and Channel 4 suddenly went off and said “no signal”. Cue much panic and downloading of the All4 app on my iPad. So I did get to watch it, on a very small screen, but missed the first 15 minutes while I registered and set up passwords etc. Then as soon as the person eliminated (cue much sobbing) was announced Channel 4 miraculously came back on air!

Tough week for Jurgen. His showstopper did look bland though didn't it. I thought it was going to be Guiseppe or Crystelle because their technicals were wrong.

Sorry to see Jurgen go but the competition is judged solely on that weeks bakes, not on past results so it was fair.
Hard to call the winner now - they are all incredible.
If he wishes it, I think Jurgen can enjoy a career on TV in the future. His calm and charming personality endeared him to a lot of viewers.

That was a real shock! I was sure Cristelle would go before the show but she pulled it off. I thought Giuseppe 's leaning tower was very ordinary looking, unless the detail didnt show up on my screen. My recording barely lasted to the judges saying Jurgen!! It thought i would have to go online to find the result.

I’ve liked the three finalists since early rounds, so I’m well pleased with the results.
I also thought the tower was underwhelming. I’m not a fan of Rice Krispie and marshmallow creations to begin with, but at least Crystelle embellished hers significantly. But the green boats were very unappealing, so I think it was right that Juergen should leave.
