"Selwyn"!  Another enjoyable story. The 'who' was quite obvious, it was the 'how' that was tricky. (There was a similar Jonathon Creek story years ago.) Glorious scenery again and some nice exchanges between the characters. I said "A horses backside!" at the same time Humphrey did. |

Just watched the first two episodes. Not too bad, even if a bit silly and I am not sure that all the accents really worked.
I like that the stories so far look set to be mysteries rather than murders.
Still feeling undecided about it, certainly not the best show. In my view it was really more of an afternoon drama than prime time.
I will try to stick with it and hope the writing improves.

I like the way the cases re recreated as Humphrey solves them at the end. Clever angle for a TV detective show.

I thought the third episode was something of an improvement, even if it was obvious how the 'theft' was done.
The reference to the expense of IVF treatment at end of episode two was very true.
