The characters are developing, especially the police team. The scenery is lovely. In the home scenario mum acts the spots off the others.
I am wondering if some of this was hampered by the pandemic. Mum and daughter always miles apart, most of it outdoors, but again often 3ft apart. Even in the police station everyone is mostly at their desks or standing apart.

I hope the lack of comment doesn’t mean that most people gave up before or during the final episode… I wouldn’t blame them - for about 55 minutes it was beyond tedious, the only moment I enjoyed was the chap whose llama had to live in the garden because the cat wouldn’t let it into the house! But then at the end, a sighting of an old friend, apparently doing fine! I won’t mind if they make another series, we need programmes which are light, but I would be glad if they got rid of the tedious Martha, she should just go off with Archie, and there’s a limit to how much we can take of Humphrey not concentrating on his work The other characters are growing on me, there’s potential for the programme, but only if they rethink the central pair IMHO of course Not yet watched the final episode as I had some real life problems to sort out and that took longer than I thought it would. I will catch up this evening.

There are rumours that 'Florence' from Death in Paradise may make an appearance in Beyond Paradise.
