This is the 'Death in Paradise' spin-off, set in Devon (Shipton Abbott), starring Kris Marshall and Sally Bretton who reprise their DiP roles as DI Humphrey Goodman and his fiancée Martha Lloyd. Episode 1 will air on BBC One Friday 24 February, 8.00pm - 9.00pm, so (I assume) immediately before the final episode of DiP S12. Very similar to DiP in tone. Doubt Devonians are very keen on it though.

I thought it was pretty awful, but I bracket it with Madame Blanc which was pretty awful but totally involving as well!😀. It has saved me money though because I don’t think I’ll bother going to see Kris Marshall in his new play at Richmond next month!

They said on BBC today that there are no murders in the series. They thought weekly murders in Devon might not be realistic. We're they ever realistic in Saint Marie or Midsomer.
