There’s one dress like the pattern challenge they do in numerous variations which you see on loads of celebs at red carpet dos, including Princess Kate. I thought Asmaa was a very worthy winner. I’m very impressed she makes bras for women who have had a mastectomy and she seems a lovely lady. Mia had a total nightmare in the reveal dress but of course Asmaa was also there to give her a cuddle. I thought the green dress was stunning. Imho it was a worthy winner regardless of the blue dress underneath it. Does anybody actually have a second dress stuffed up round the waist of the top dress when at a gala event? Personally I wouldn’t want to risk a reveal going wrong, and leaving everything revealed on the red carpet!!!! |

What a lovely trio of people in the final. They were so supportive of each other and I thought Mia and Tony were genuinely glad for Asmaa. Her two-in-one dress was just sensational.To me it was the only one that didn't look as though it had another dress rolled up inside it but I also especially liked the green one as it was in my favourite colour. She deserved to win. I suppose that her skills as a surgeon such as attention to detail, precision and keeping calm under pressure helped her but she is an amazing sewer and a lovely lady to boot. Well done Asmaa!

That should be fun  Patrick was on Desert Island Discs on Sunday, repeat will be 9.00 am on Friday I think I’ll be interested to hear what he chooses |
